Koh Hin Ngam is usually on the program for the inner zone boat tours. Behind the island is spot for snorkeling where the pristine soft coral provides the attraction. Koh Hin Ngam is a small island with beaches of black and brown pebbles whose alternating stripes of color create alluring patterns, some round, some flat, their smooth surfaces glistening in the sunlight as they're tossed by the waves. Signs warn that anyone taking a stone from the island will be cursed and bring misfortune down upon themselves. The island is part of the Satun Geo Park and has been around for more than 500 million years.
