Pattaya Beach is flat and firm.

You will see many travellers walking with their children in trolleys enjoying the views.  Some walk hand in hand. Those who wish to sunbath may do so. Those who wish to take a stroll along the beach may also do so. Freedom is everywhere on Lipe Island.

Pakbara Pier, a speedboat will take 1 hour and 10 minutes to reach Pattaya Beach.  When the speedboat slows down, all travellers are all excited to see a white long beach waiting for them.  The sea is indigo blue tinged with emerald green.  The water is crystal clear and you can see the underwater coral reefs and various schools of fish.  At Pattaya Beach around the entrance of the walking street is the center of boat services.  If it is a speedboat, it can directly land on the beach or stop at a floating pontoon.  Ferries also stop at pontoons so travellers can connect to their resorts by long-tailed boat.  Pattaya Beach is a southwest beach.  It is a concave beach in the form of a crescent.  The beach is large and flat.  The sand is smooth and fine. 

Pattaya Beach is busy all day.  There are quite a number of long-tailed boats waiting to provide their services here as well.  The name of Had Pattaya Beach has been distorted from a word in Indo-Aryan “Sepattaya” which was given as the name by the pioneering King of the island..

In the afternoon, the sun can be strong, making the water even more crystal clear and more inviting for the youngsters and the children to jump in for their swims.  Just float around in the sea in front of the beach and you will see the corals.  Quite a number of yachts from Langkawi Islands stop at this beach to stay on Koh Lipe.
